We are equipped to handle all of your flood certificate needs for both Residential & Commercial buildings.

There are 3 types of flood certificates:

Pre-Construction
This is based on your house plans and site conditions on your lot. It also determines the flood zone of the property and the required finish floor of the building. A benchmark may be needed on site at this time.

Under Construction
This is required by most communities in order to get some of your building inspections completed. This certificate determines if the constructed finish floor meets the minimum elevation requirement and should be completed before the actual floor is put into place based on form boards, top of block, etc. to avoid any unnecessary additional costs. Also provides color pictures of the building as required by FEMA.

Finished Construction
This usually required before a Certificate of Occupancy is awarded. This certificate is also used on existing dwellings and not just new construction. This certificate takes into account number and size of flood vents (if required), height of machinery servicing the building (such as an a/c unit), and also provides color pictures of the building as required by FEMA.
